D+166 -D+169 Bilbao, San sebastian

It is the only thing I know about bilbao that there is Guggenheim museum.
It is also the only reason to visit the city.
I didn't have a guidebook. I didn't book accomodations.
I checked an address of hostel in internet., which is said to be in dangerous area of city.
Anyway I went. Things would be going well as always.
It's spain, much easier than Russia. Also, I didn't have heavy backpack, only small daypack.
I could walk all around city with it.
Fortunately I met a nigerian guy in the bus.
He lives in Bilbao.
He paid the metro for me, took me to the hostel.
After two hours we met again, walked together to museum.

Vincent, his friend Innocent(don't look like innocent).
At first time I doubted him. Does he want something?
But he is just good friend.
Guggenheim museum, ten years have passed since it was built.
Bilbao was famous for iron industry.
Do you remember geographical class in high school?
The industry declined as times went by.
It was built on place of old ware house to symbolize new birth of city.(Am I right? I'm not sure)
It is covered with titinum. It is huge, enormous, sublime.

Amazing.
It is the museum itself the best thing about museum.
I think few things can match with the museum.
The big sculptures is one of them.

Title "The matter of time" by Richard Serranren.
Iron changed color with time.
You can walk through the sculpture feeling " times goes by"
Nowadays art need science. How can they stand without external supporting? Isn't it interesting?
If I were born again with a little talent, I would be an architecture or an artist.
The next day, I visit San sebastian(Donotia by basque language)
It is famous resort town. Also famous for center of basque independent movement.

I climbed up to the monte urgul. It's nothing to high mountain.
But I was short of breath. Long time, no exercise.
There is the big Jesus statue. it's like Rio de Janeiro.

I met a french guy named Remy. He took me this picture.

We came down together talking to each other.
"What is all that buses?" "Well, I don't know. sports game?"
Same colored T shirts, flags.

Ah, there were boat races that day.
Players carrying boats. JJol T-shirts, JJol shorts.
Um~ good, great sight.

It is one of enjoyable things in travelling to meet unexpected festivals.
Remy accompanied me to the bus terminal. He went back to town after that.
He said good bye to me with bijou.
Ah, I have to send him his picture.

Nice guy, but too tall for me. haha
