D+100 Marsa Martruh, Alexandria

Usually, I don't go to Mcdonald, KFC, etc.
Eat local food, it is rule of my own.
It isn't successful always. sometimes bad smell, inedible food.
But I want to eat things like them.
But, in Marsa Matruh, I went to Mcdonald two consecutive days.
Why? It is the most beautiful Mcdonald in the world, I think.

Matruh is not touristic city.
In lonely planet(famous guidebook), it'is written as just door to Siwa oasis.
I didn't go to Siwa oasis,(It is famous attraction to Korean people) instead go to Matruh
Because two korean guy told me they liked that city more than any other city in Egypt.
So I went. I agree with them, absolutely.
(I became the real long time traveller. They have no plans. Go to where they want impulsively, stay as long as they want)
It is clear, friendly, beautiful city.
There are even the cleaning car in the street.
And most of taxi are Accent, like my car in Korea.

And the sea, beatiful, light blue color Mediterranean sea.
I could see the sea in balcony of my room.
Just looking at sea make me happy.
Yes, I'm that kind of people. I know it now in travelling.

I went to Agiba beach. It is not large beach, but really pretty.

I wished I could swim in the sea.
But I was only one asian tourist (maybe in all Matruh, I didn't meet any foreigh tourist in city).
If I swim there, all the people might sightsee me.
Just looking at sea, it's enough.

Before going to Matruh, I stayed in Alex for 5 days.
I had planned for 2days, the reasons for longer stay are
First, there was library I like,
Second, I had some women's problem,
Third, I met an Egyptian guy, named Mohamed.
Mohamed...bad guy...
He graduated engineering class of college just two weeks ago.
He has no job now.
His pronunciation is really funny, but he can speak english a bit well.
(Most Egyptian can't speak English)
I went with his friends to cafe trying sheesha(a kind of long cigarettes)
At first, smell good, but at the end, it was definitely smoking.
Went to Montaza, the vast garden where Egyptian couples are dating.
I learned about present Egypt from talking with him.

After 2 days, he asked me kiss and money.
Oh, No!!!
Of course, I didn't give him neither of them.
I was hurted, much disapponted. I thought him as friend. But he asked me something.
So I left him in the street.
Later a korean guy(It's you, you know?) told me it was not unusual thing to Egyptians.
(He had lived at Alex for two years)
Asking money easily, being refused, no problem.
And also, Egyptian guys think tourist girl easy.
I read about that in all the guidebook.
Yes, I'm not Muslim girl at least. But I'm not easy girl!!!
Maybe he is not bad guy. He may be just typical Egyptian guy, well educated, no jobs.
I hope I would be a good memory to him.

Today is my 100th day of travelling.
Congratulation to myself !!!
There is no accident, no stolen goods, a few bad thing, not big things, most of good things.
I hope it will keep going like this.
Today I arrived at Cairo from Matruh. After two hous I' ll take train to Aswan.
Wish me a good luck, always.
Bye
(This is Bibliotheca Alexandria, isn't it nice?)
